Please join us for the 2010 Champaign County Republican Central Committee County Convention. By statute, the County Convention must be conducted on March 3rd in the county seat.  We will be holding our County Convention on March 3rd, at 7 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center (1001 Killarney, Urbana).

Precinct Committeemen are required to attend this bi-annual business meeting of the local GOP.  The Committeemen will elect our Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.  Additionally, we will be voting on changes to our Bylaws at this meeting.  Additionally, we’ll discuss the event details surrounding Karl Rove’s attendance at our Lincoln Day dinner on Saturday, March 20, 2010.  (A complete agenda will be provided at the meeting.)  If you are not an elected Committeeman, you will be allowed to participate in the meeting, but you will not have voting privileges.

If you are an elected precinct committeemen who is unable to attend the convention, please contact Jason Barickman at info@champaigncountyrepublicans.org by February 26th.  You may designate a representative to vote in your absence by providing a written proxy to me by 7pm on the night of the convention.
